We are pleased to announce the branch in WA has been re-established. Over the next few months, the committee will be active in organising events and formalising web pages. 

The WA Branch is committed to the ACNN objectives of advancing the specialty of neonatal nursing and positively influencing care for neonates and their families.

Proposed activities for the first year of operation
Strategic Planning

The WA Branch will plan activities in line with the ACNN strategic plan and the sustainable committee’s policy (P13). Activities will be listed within the strategic plan, made available on the ACNN website, and reported against in the annual report.

Proposed activities:

  • Establish the WA branch email address
  • Work with the ESO to establish both public and private WA branch pages on the website and members area
  • Liaise with the ESO to book Zoom committee and presentation meetings into the zoom and events calendar
  • Working with social media to develop a Zoom background for the WA branch
  • Review ACNN strategic plan and develop activities that support the objectives of the college
  • Have a representative attend each of the Forum meetings in 2025
  • Contribute an item to each of the four editions of the newsletter in 2025.
