ACNN does not offer any undergraduate or postgraduate courses for nurses, midwives or neonatal nurses. ACNN is a member-based not for profit organisation, providing professional development opportunities to registered nurses and midwives.

No. ACNN is not an accreditation provider and therefore is unable to accredit courses. 

Unfortunately no. ACNN provides scholarships to members who live, work and undertake study in Australia. ACNN has an agreement with the University of Tasmania, offering ACNN members reduced course fees.

Registered nurses, registered midwives, nurse practitioners, or enrolled nurses, living in Australia and working in the areas of clinical neonatal care, researching neonatal-related topics or teaching neonatal nursing can apply for membership of ACNN. Complete a membership application form here.

Yes. Student membership is available to nursing or midwifery pre-registration students enrolled in an Australian university. Get in touch with us via our contact form.

ACNN strives to keep membership fees low but still offer exclusive benefits to members including free or low-cost education and professional development activities and generous scholarships to support conference attendance, post-graduate education and research projects. ACNN is a professional body run by Neonatal Nurses. ACNN is always looking for passionate members wishing to become more involved in advancing neonatal nursing and outcomes for neonates and their families. If you are interested in becoming more involved at the Executive, Branch or Special Interest Group level, you can get in touch via our contact form or call 0456 645 261.

You can pay for your membership via credit/debit card or electronic funds transfer. ACNN only accepts Visa and Master Card. Should you wish to pay by electronic funds transfer please contact us here.

To update your payment details, use the following link to login to the ACNN website as a member: www.acnn.org.au/community/login/

Ensure that you are logged into the website. Then:

• Select ‘My Profile’
• Select ‘Purchase History’
• Click on ‘Update card’ button on the left-hand side of the page under invoice history and recurring payment type (monthly or yearly)
• Input your new card details and save.
• Select your membership type (Full Time, Part Time, or Casual) in the drop down menu
• Accept the member of convenience rule and member statement

Once this is complete you will receive email confirmation from our website.

To change what communication you receive from ACNN via email, use the following link to login to the ACNN website as a member: www.acnn.org.au/community/login/

Ensure that you are logged into the website. Then:

• Select ‘My Profile’
• Select ‘Manage Subscription’
• Select or deselect the communication you would like to receive.

To update your details, login to the ACNN website as a member here: www.acnn.org.au/community/login/

Ensure that you are logged into the website. Then:

• Select ‘My Profile’
• Review and update the required details
• Click on ‘update profile’
• The page should display ‘Profile Save Successfully’ once completed. If not, please try again.  

If you are not receiving email correspondence from ACNN, firstly add acnn.org.au to your safe senders list within the email system you are using (i.e., Outlook, Gmail, Hotmail etc). If you need assistance to do this or would like us to update your contact details, please get in touch via our contact form. We can resubscribe you to the email list, or rectify any other potential mistakes that may cause the emails to bounce back.

To cancel your membership with ACNN, please get in touch via our contact form. Once we have processed your resignation, you will be sent an email of confirmation.
